Instead of editing your theme’s files directly, use a code manager:

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress sidebar.

  2. Search for the free Code Snippets plugin and click Install then Activate.

  3. Navigate to the new Snippets menu in your sidebar and click Import.

  4. Drag and drop the JSON file you downloaded from Web Squadron into the box.

  5. Click Save Changes and Activate. [1, 2]

3. Open it Inside Your Dashboard

Once activated, the tool embeds natively into your admin panel:

  • Refresh your WordPress dashboard page.

  • Look at your left-hand admin sidebar. You will see a new tab labeled Font Clamp or Web Squadron Tools.

  • Click it to open the generator interface directly inside WordPress.

  • You can configure your global min/max parameters, toggle between pixels and rems, and click Reset to Default if you want to fall back on his pre-calculated typescale. [1]
